20 week scan - counting, looking, checking
0 Comments Published by Lin on Wednesday 25 February 2009 at 6:18 pm.Today was our 20 week anomoly/morphology scan (at 19 weeks) and after 45 mins of poking and prodding at my belly lying flat, lying sideways, lying inverted, we've been given the green light that all is where is should be!
We said hello to our little one as she waved at us on the telly above and the sonographer managed to catch this cute little snap of her hand gesturing!
She's 15cm long, just over the 50th percentile in size, with a strong, healthy heatbeat. Doc is very happy with her progress and has told us we are looking at a low-risk birth!
And just in case you're wondering... no, we didn't find out the sex - and we aren't going to either. It will be nice to be surprised on the day but for now we're just hoping for a healthy, happy baby!
